1Jakie dane przetwarza aplikacja

  • Wpisy lotów: data, lotniska, godziny, typ i rejestracja statku, czasy, nazwisko PIC, lądowania, uwagi.

Służy wyłącznie do odczytania wierszy. Obowiązują wtedy zasady prywatności tej usługi: Google, Anthropic.
  • Synchronizacja i kopie.

4Uprawnienia

Aplikacja Android używa uprawnień: internet; dokładna lokalizacja i usługa pierwszoplanowa lokalizacji (tylko do nagrywania lotu, które sam włączasz i wyłączasz; w trakcie widać stałe powiadomienie); powiadomienia (do tego powiadomienia). Aplikacja nie używa lokalizacji w tle bez Twojej wiedzy. Zdjęcie robisz w aplikacji aparatu, a pliki wybierasz w systemowym oknie wyboru, więc aplikacja nie potrzebuje dostępu do aparatu ani całej galerii.

6Przechowywanie i usuwanie danych

7Dzieci

8Zmiany i kontakt

Privacy policy

Effective 19 October 2026 · Android app: com.PilotLogBook

In short: Pilot Logbook has no user accounts and no analytics. It shows one ad banner at the top, with no tracking and no advertising IDs. The developer does not collect or store your data. Your flights stay on your device unless you connect the logbook to your own Google Sheet, Google Drive or server.

1Data the app processes

  • Flight entries (date, airports, times, aircraft type and registration, times, PIC name, landings, remarks), stored on your device.
  • Settings (default PIC name, aircraft types, API keys you enter), stored on your device.
  • Photos of logbook pages that you choose or take for scanning.
  • GPS flight track (position, altitude, speed), recorded only when you start „Record flight GPS”. It stays on your device and leaves it only if you turn on track backups yourself (a GPX file on your Google Drive, a tab in your Google Sheet or a phone folder) or share a GPX file with another app.

2When data leaves your device

  • Photo scanning: the page photo is sent directly to the AI service you choose (Google Gemini or Anthropic Claude with your own API key, or your own server), only to read the rows. That service’s privacy policy applies.
  • Sync and backups: if you connect your own Google Sheet, Google Drive or server, flights (and, if you enable it, GPS tracks) are stored there, in your account. The JSON backup and GPX file on Drive are written by the Google Drive app on your phone, into a file you choose. The developer has no access.
  • Ad banner: at start-up and every few minutes the app loads the banner from the developer’s sheet (Google Apps Script) and the image from the advertiser’s server; these servers see your IP address. The app sends an anonymous „shown” signal (at most once per 6 hours) and a „clicked” signal, counted only as daily totals, with no device ID or personal data.
  • Map: map tiles load from CARTO, OpenStreetMap or Esri servers, which see your IP address and the map area.

All connections use HTTPS.

3What the app does not do

No account, no e-mail collection, no location outside the flight recording you start (sent only to places you choose: your Sheet, Drive or server), no advertising ID (AD_ID), no contacts or advertising IDs, no ad networks, no analytics or tracking, no selling or sharing of data.

4Amazfit watch app

The „Pilot Logbook” watch app (Zepp OS) works together with Pilot Logbook on your phone. Location (watch GPS) is used only when you start „Watch GPS” yourself; positions are stored on the watch and, after you stop, sent over Bluetooth to the Zepp app and on to the Logbook on the same phone, never to a server. Watch storage keeps the current recording, flights waiting to be sent and the last totals loaded from the phone; uninstalling the app removes them. Device information (screen size and shape) is used only for the layout. The Zepp app service talks to the Logbook at 127.0.0.1, inside the phone only, not reachable from any network. The watch app has no ads, analytics or accounts and sends no data to the developer or third parties.

5Retention, deletion and contact

Delete single flights in the app, or all data by uninstalling the app or clearing its data. Synced data is deleted in your own Sheet, Drive or server. The app is intended for pilots and is not directed at children. Privacy questions: use the developer e-mail shown on the „Pilot Logbook” Google Play listing.
